CRPF Recruitment 2014 – 482 Head Constable(Ministerial) Posts: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has given a notification for the recruitment of 482 Head Constable(Ministerial) Posts (Special Recruitment Drive for Reserved/ Backlog Posts) on temporary basis. CRPF Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post: Head Constable(Ministerial)
(i) General: 181 Posts
(ii) OBC: 92 Posts
(iii) SC: 53 Posts
(iv) ST: 156 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-25 years as on 12-03-2014. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government, English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on computer.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on two phases. First Phase contains Scrutiny/ checking of certificates/ documents, Physical Measurement, Written examination & Second Phase contains Skill test ( i.e. Typing speed test), Interview, Medical examination.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- through by a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of the DIGP, GC, CPRF of concerned application receiving centre. The IPO/ Demand Draft should be purchased/ drawn at post office/ Bank where the application receiving centre is situated. SC/ ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested photocopies of Education certificate of 10th Class, Intermediate (10+2), Caste certificate, issued by the Revenue Officer, No Objection Certificate by candidates who are already in Government service, Discharge certificate by Ex-servicemen candidates,Four recent passport size self attested photographs are required, application fee, Four self addressed envelopes of 25 cm x 12 cm size duly affixing postal stamp worth Rs.27/- on each envelope with full postal address of the candidate neatly written on envelope in Capital letters. The envelope must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE(MINISTERIAL) IN CRPF” on or before 12-03-2014 up to 5:00 PM & For candidates who are living in Mizoram, Andaman & Nicobar etc on or before 19-03-2014 up to 5:00 PM to the concerned address mentioned in the Notification.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 27 years as on 20-02-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen/ ESIC Employees & Government Servants.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have degree of a recognized University (Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/ Law/Management) with knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Written Examination, Computer Skill Test & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to take print out of challan (generated online) for Rs.275/- in any branch of State Bank of India and no fee for SC/ ST/PWD/ EX-Servicemen/ Women candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply Online through the website by scanning photograph  and signature in JPG/ JPEG format with less than 50 kb from 20-01-2014 to 20-02-2014 by 5:00 PM and the candidates who have generated SBI Chalan for payment of fee on or before 20-02-2014 by 5:00 PM can deposit the application fee in cash in any branch of SBI on or before 24-02-2014 and can complete the remaining part of online application on or before 26-02-2014 by 5:00 PM. Candidates have to provide valid email-id, mobile number for communication. Candidates need not to submit the hard copy of application.
